Music Video

This video involved a lot of digital post production. For starters interlaced stock footage needed to de-interlaced, stabilized and sharpened to match the progressive footage of the band. Then there was removing little things from some the the shots, like people.

Then there was the lone figure chiseling the names into the road surface. this was done with some cleaver shooting and compositing.

TILL DEATH

On a cold Saturday I shot this for Quiet on the set Productions. It was so cold that batteries froze up and  the equipment mounted on the camera’s rails froze in place. The post production required a large amount of roto-scoping and tweaking to get the old film look. The only plug in used was Tint to turn them into a grey scale image. Everything else was old school compositing.

Digital Effects

Brett Kelly of Brett kelly Entertainment has asked me to do the energy blasts and other digital effects for his up coming feature film, The Scarab.
This film is from a 1940’s comic book by the same name, and the director liked updated looks. This type of digital effects work requires a little bit creative thinking and is a whole lot of fun.

My personal playground for video productions born from the most selfish reason of all. To make what ever I want to.
Focusing on action and visual effects I try to come up with reasons to create controlled chaos.
